Cucumber, Lime & Ginger Juice
Ingredients:
2 medium cucumbers, washed and sliced (including peels)
1.5-inch piece of fresh ginger, peeled and chopped
Juice of 2 limes
1 teaspoon brown sugar (or honey, optional)
Ice cubes (for serving)
Instructions:
Preparation: Begin by washing and slicing the cucumbers, ensuring you keep the nutrient-rich peels intact. Peel and chop the ginger as well.
Blending: Place the cucumber slices and chopped ginger into the blender. Squeeze the juice of two limes into the blender to infuse the mixture with a zesty flavor. Optionally, add a teaspoon of brown sugar for a slight touch of sweetness. For a healthier alternative, you can use honey or omit sweeteners altogether.
Blending: Secure the blender lid and blend the ingredients on high until you achieve a smooth and vibrant green mixture.
Straining: If desired, strain the juice through a fine mesh strainer to remove any remaining pulp and ensure a smoother consistency.
